Share your story and be featured in our next Miracle Maker update!
As a Miracle Maker, you give to make a difference. Maybe you’ve been touched by the magic of Cook Children’s before – someone you love was a patient, you volunteer at one of our medical centers or you’ve simply seen lives changed under our blue peaks. We’d love to hear your story and share it with our community of over 800 Miracle Makers.
Stories of hope in Promise Magazine
Everyone who knows Matthew describes him the same way: hardworking, bright and always smiling.
Those qualities served him well on the football field. They would prove even more important after an unexpected medical emergency changed his life in an instant.
Through it all, Matthew met every obstacle with the same determination that defines him as an athlete but, just like on the field, he couldn’t succeed without his team.
In Promise Magazine, you'll meet the teenager whose resilience inspires everyone around him, and the Cook Children's team that helped him move from a life-threatening diagnosis toward a future filled with possibilities.
Our biggest day of giving: North Texas Giving Day
Every September, something big happens in North Texas.
Thousands of donors – neighbors, families, companies and friends come together on a single day to show what this community is made of.
Save the date! North Texas Giving Day is Sept.17, 2026.
Cook Children’s is counting on our dedicated donors to show record-breaking support for children across North Texas; helping them find hope and healing under our blue peaks.
Whether it’s a visit to one of our primary care offices, a late-night visit to our Emergency Department or a hospital stay – Cook Children’s brings compassionate care close to home. Every child has access to world-class care with moments of magic sprinkled into every visit. We couldn’t do this without YOU.
