CMNH Partner Panda Express

Panda Express has been a valuable Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) partner since 2007. Nationally, they raise funds for CMN Hospitals, like Cook Children's, through coin donation boxes, Round Up and associate giving campaigns and golf tournaments. Overall, national contributions from Panda Express in the past nine years have surpassed $11.2 million, with almost $5 million raised in 2015 alone.

Local funds raised by Panda Express support Cook Children's greatest needs and help us fulfill our Promise to the community to improve the life of every child in our region.

In the last year, they have seen fundraising in the Fort Worth market double from the previous year! Thirty-eight Panda Express restaurants in the Fort Worth area raised more than $115,000 in 2016 and more than $270,000 since 2008. This includes one location that raised more than $12,000!

In addition to their generous financial giving, Panda Express donates meals to support some of our partner programs, including Texas Christian University's Dance Marathon, and hosts Give Back Nights that benefit several local Dance Marathon programs.

In support of the company's efforts, Panda Express employees all have huge hearts for giving back. Over the past few years, local restaurant employees have visited Cook Children's Medical Center to provide smiles, toys and activities to patients who are unable to leave the medical center. They bring Tom Tom, the Panda, to entertain and interact with kids. Panda Express employees work hard to make the visit fun so that the patients can have a distraction from their medical treatments.
