The future of our communities starts with you
More than 100 years ago, two women founded Cook Children’s on a simple Promise: to improve the well-being of every child in our care and our communities. Mrs. Ida L. Turner and Mrs. Missouri Matilda Nail Cook couldn’t have known then how their generosity would transform the lives of children in North Texas, but we see it each and every day, under our blue peaks and beyond.
It takes an entire community to fulfill a Promise as big as ours, and we know we cannot continue to care for every child who walks through our doors without the generosity of loyal supporters like you. As we look to the next 100 years of world-class pediatric health care, we invite you to partner in our Promise by becoming a Turner-Cook Society member.
Members of our Turner-Cook Society share our founders’ belief that ripples of generosity have the power to become giant waves of change. These forward-thinking donors choose to make our patients the focus of their philanthropic legacy. Their commitment to our Promise not only allows our experts to provide the lifesaving care our patients need, but also the programs and services that make our medical centers feel like home.
When you join our Turner-Cook Society, you’ll make a meaningful investment in the health of our communities by making a planned gift to Cook Children’s. Planned gifts take many forms, from a bequest in a will or trust to gifts of real estate, donor-advised funds or distributions from an IRA.
However you choose to give, know that our team of experts will be with you every step of the way. Together, we’ll create an estate plan that will help you care for your loved ones and leave a legacy that shapes the future of health care in our communities.
Ways to give:
- A bequest in a will or a trust
- A qualified charitable distribution from your IRA
- Designate Cook Children’s Health Foundation as a beneficiary of one or more of your retirement accounts, life insurance policies, donor-advised funds or commercial annuities, to be paid at the time of death
- Gifts of appreciated securities
